'paree' must see?

I am so happy to announce that my work will be presented on the international trade fair in Paris called Maison & Objet (jan 21 - jan 24)! I'll post some details later.

I'll be on the trade show at least one day, the others I'll spend with my three men, who are my 'assistents' on this business trip.
I would like to visit Merci Conceptstore on Beaumarchais and one of the Muji stores. But there must be a lot more worth visiting (apart from The Louvre, Centre Pompidou, Palais de Tokyo etc)!

Could you please give me some advice? What is the Parisian 'must see' according to you? And do you happen to know any great places to have a coffee, good food and/or a nice view? Are there any blogs with Paris tips and tricks that you can recommend?

In short: I would love you to be my indie tourist guide, please leave a comment or email me... Thanks in advance!

    Zie http://www.shakespeareandcompany.com.

    Liefs,
    Marielle

  17. Thank you so much, dear readers, for all the lovely ideas, practical tips and great links listed above and in my email inbox. If I had time I could write a nice little guide for all of us. But I don't have one spare minute, even this weekend I am locked up in my workroom: I decided last week that I wanted to have a brandnew product to be presented in Paris. Useually a new product from idea to actual product takes at least a week or 6, this time I do it in 10 days. It's hard labour and a bit of a sacrifice for my family, but it works and it is fun! So: when the files are at the printers, cutters and envelope-manufacturers, most of the work is done and I will enjoy an evening making a JM-blog friends -Parisguide of your contributions. I am looking forward to it! Thanks again!
